Rick, Jessica, Hayden, and Colter Habein, Owners Rick Habein, Manager Established in 1989 with a few cull cows, the company now has a mother cow herd of 130. All of their calves are kept on the ranch until they are between 20 and 30 months of age. At this point, they are sold to Hawaii Natural Meats for their natural grass-finished beef program. In addition to a cattle herd of over 300 head, the Habeins run 120 ewes on their 900 acres from which they harvest lamb and wool.
Habein Livestock Co. was awarded Mauna Kea Soil and Water Conservation
