Aioli's Restaurant 808-885-6325 Zagat Survey 1998, 1999 - "Excellent" AIOLI'S!!!! What's in a name? French, garlicky mayonnaise? A Hawaiian word? A new restaurant serving eclectic American cuisine? Aioli's Restaurant opened August 16, 1997 at the location of the former restaurant Mean Cuisine, next to Merriman's, in Opelo Plaza in Waimea. Our lunch menu features custom made sandwiches, soups and salads. We roast our own turkeys for our turkey breast sandwiches, and our ham sandwiches are made from Hormel Cure 81 hams. Daily Hot Sandwich Specials include Kamuela Pride Hamburgers, local Kawaihae Fresh Catch sandwiches and others. Our Caesar Salad on Wednesday is to die for! Most of our breads are homemade, as are our cookies and desserts. Lunches are extremely reasonable, featuring meals from about $3 to $9. On Saturday mornings we also make giant cinnamon rolls. Sundays we offer large omelets during the entire time that we are open. Dinner at Aioli's Restaurant is special. Our menu is unique and changes every three weeks. The food is excellent, the table service superb, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Examples of recent offerings: Certified Black Angus herb crusted prime rib with baked potato and vegetables ($20.95), herb and citrus marinated grilled shrimp ($16.95), mahi-mahi and langostinos en papillote ($16.95), and torta rustica ($11.95). We always have at least two vegetarian entrees. Aioli's also does catering and is available for dinner parties. |
